Nature Exploration in Park Presidio

Explorers will visit a variety of different landmarks and natural areas in Park Presidio. The natural locations include grass, sand, climbing trees, hills, and streams, as well as some man-made landmarks by Andy Goldsworthy. We will also have opportunities to observe wildlife in their natural habitat including birds, insects, rodents, and the occasional coyote.

We encourage explorers to come wearing comfortable weather-appropriate clothes to hike and climb in, shoes that have good tread so as to climb trees without slipping, a nut-free lunch and/or snack, a bottle of water, and a change of clothes if necessary.
