Golden Gate Art and Nature Cancellation Policy

At Golden Gate Art & Nature, we understand that families have busy and changing schedules. Our classes operate with limited enrollment and require significant advance planning.

While we strive to be as accommodating as possible, these factors limit the flexibility we are able to offer. The following policy outlines the options available should a scheduling conflict arise. 

All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email preferred).

2026-2027 School Year Semesters

  • Fall Session:
    Cancellations requested on or before August 1, 2026 will receive a 50% refund.

  • Winter/Spring Session:
    Cancellations requested on or before December 1, 2026 will receive a 50% refund

Cancellations requested after the applicable refund deadline, but prior to the start of the session, are non refundable.


Summer Camps

  • Refunds for Summer Camp are gladly given through April 15th, less a 20% administrative fee per student for each week of camp refunded.

  • Cancellations made after April 15th, but before May 15th, are non refundable, but will receive a credit for 50% of the original payment that is good for one year from your cancellation date

  • Credits : Credits must be used within one year of the cancellation date and are non transferable.

General Terms

  • All transfers, credits, and refunds are subject to availability and administrative review.

  • Credits may be applied only toward future Golden Gate Art & Nature programs and may not be redeemed for cash.

  • Registration in any program constitutes acceptance of this policy.

Photos and Documentation

Golden Gate Art & Nature may occasionally use photographs of participants for promotional purposes on our website and social media platforms, including Instagram. If you prefer that your child’s image not be used, or if you wish to request the removal of an existing photograph, please contact us directly. All requests will be promptly honored.

Medical Authorization

I authorize Golden Gate Art & Nature to obtain emergency transportation, medical treatment, and/or hospital care for my child in the event of an accident or illness. I understand that I am financially responsible for all medical services rendered. This authorization is effective for the duration of my child’s participation in Golden Gate Art & Nature classes and camps.

Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk

I hereby acknowledge and agree that participation in programs offered by Golden Gate Art & Nature LLC involves inherent risks. In consideration of participation, I voluntarily release, waive, discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Golden Gate Art & Nature LLC, including its owners, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents, from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from my or my child’s participation in any Golden Gate Art & Nature activity, whether conducted on or off the premises, during or outside of regular business hours, and whether arising from negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I understand that art related activities may involve the use of tools, materials, and equipment that carry inherent risks, including but not limited to sharp or metal tools, pottery equipment, paints, adhesives, hot glue guns, and other art materials that may be hazardous if misused or ingested. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation on behalf of myself and/or my child.

I accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, loss, or damage that may occur to myself or my child as a result of participation in Golden Gate Art & Nature programs.

I agree to provide accurate and up to date information regarding my child’s medical conditions, allergies, medications, or behavioral considerations and to promptly notify Golden Gate Art & Nature of any changes that may affect my child’s safe participation.

I understand that this release and waiver is intended to be interpreted as broadly as permitted under the laws of the State of California. If any portion of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
